Arbitrary Dismissal & End-of-Service in Syria (Law 17/2010)

Two months' wage for each year of service on the last monthly wage, capped at 150 times the general minimum wage (Article 65 of Labour Law 17/2010), in addition to other entitlements.

Uninsured workers receive an end-of-service gratuity of one month's wage per year (Article 63); insured workers receive their entitlement through social insurance. A resignation must be registered with the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labour.

Two months for indefinite-term contracts for either party (Article 56), running from actual receipt; the employer cannot shorten it.
