Libya: court-set unjustified-dismissal compensation (Art. 76), end-of-service reward for non-nationals (Art. 78), 30-day notice (Art. 71), and the conciliation/arbitration route.
Under Libya's Labour Relations Law No. 12 of 2010, termination without justification entitles the affected party to compensation set by the court (Article 76 — no fixed multiple). Non-national workers not covered by social security receive an end-of-service reward of half a month's pay per year for the first five years and one month per year after (Article 78); nationals are covered by the Social Security Fund. Notice is 30 days for indefinite contracts (Article 71). Disputes go to a Conciliation Board then an Arbitration Committee.
