Amman Arab University and HAQQ Towards Strategic Cooperation in Legal Technologies and Artificial Intelligence
HAQQ and Amman Arab University explore strategic partnership to integrate AI-powered legal technologies into legal education and advance e-litigation and artificial intelligence in Jordan.
As part of Amman Arab University's aspirations to strengthen cooperation with leading companies in legal technologies, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamd, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance at Amman Arab University, representing the University President Dr. Mohammad Al-Wadyan, received a delegation from HAQQ, a company specializing in AI-powered legal technologies and solutions, led by Founder and CEO Antoine Kanaan.
Building a Strategic Partnership
The visit aimed to explore avenues for joint cooperation and build a strategic partnership with the Faculty of Law in the fields of e-litigation and artificial intelligence in legal education. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammad Al-Thunaibat, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Dr. Alaa Al-Fawair, Assistant Dean and Head of the Private Law Department; Dr. Sultan Al-Atein, Head of the Law Department; Dr. Faisal Al-Abdallat, Faculty Member; and Mr. Waddah Mesmar, Director of Media and Public Relations at the university.
Integrating AI into Legal Education
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Hamd reviewed Amman Arab University's vision for developing academic programs and linking them to rapid technological developments. He emphasized the university's commitment to integrating artificial intelligence applications into the educational process, particularly in legal specializations, to enhance students' skills and prepare them for labor market requirements.
HAQQ's Vision for Legal Tech in Academia
For his part, Antoine Kanaan emphasized the importance of building a strategic partnership with Amman Arab University, praising its pioneering approach to developing legal education and keeping pace with digital transformations, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. He explained that HAQQ seeks to transfer its practical and technical expertise to the academic environment through developing innovative solutions for e-litigation and implementing specialized training and applied programs that contribute to honing students' skills and enhancing their readiness for effective participation in the digital legal labor market.
Future Collaboration Areas
The meeting addressed the prospects of academic and applied cooperation between the two sides. Discussions covered the possibility of developing specialized quality courses in the fields of e-litigation and legal artificial intelligence, in line with the requirements of digital transformation in the judicial system and contributing to enhancing students' readiness to meet the requirements of the modern legal labor market.
Both parties emphasized the importance of integrating legal artificial intelligence tools within the curricula of the Faculty of Law, given its pivotal role in raising the efficiency of legal research and developing students' applied skills. Additionally, prospects for partnership in sponsoring the Faculty of Law's upcoming conference were discussed, in support of its academic objectives and enhancement of its scientific and applied outputs.

جاءت الزيارة في إطار بحث سبل التعاون المشترك وبناء شراكة استراتيجية مع كلية الحقوق في مجالات التقاضي الإلكتروني والذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم القانوني، وذلك بحضور كلّ من: الأستاذ الدكتور محمد الذنيبات عميد كلية الحقوق، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء الفواعير مساعد عميد كلية الحقوق ورئيس قسم القانون الخاص، والدكتور سلطان العطين رئيس قسم القانون، والدكتور فيصل العبداللات عضو هيئة التدريس في كلية الحقوق، والسيد وضاح مسمار مدير دائرة الإعلام والعلاقات العامة في الجامعة.
دمج الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم القانوني
واستعرض الدكتور الحمد خلال اللقاء رؤية جامعة عمان العربية في تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية وربطها بالتطورات التكنولوجية المتسارعة، مؤكدًا حرص الجامعة على إدماج تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في العملية التعليمية لا سيما في التخصصات القانونية، بما يسهم في تعزيز مهارات الطلبة وتهيئتهم لمتطلبات سوق العمل.

وتناول اللقاء آفاق التعاون الأكاديمي والتطبيقي بين الجانبين، حيث جرى بحث إمكانية تطوير مساقات نوعية متخصصة في مجالي التقاضي الإلكتروني والذكاء الاصطناعي القانوني، بما ينسجم مع متطلبات التحول الرقمي في المنظومة القضائية، ويسهم في تعزيز جاهزية الطلبة لمواكبة متطلبات سوق العمل القانوني الحديث.
وشدّد الجانبان على أهمية دمج أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي القانونية ضمن الخطط الدراسية لكلية الحقوق، لما لذلك من دور محوري في رفع كفاءة البحث القانوني وتنمية المهارات التطبيقية لدى الطلبة، بالإضافة إلى بحث آفاق الشراكة في رعاية مؤتمر كلية الحقوق المزمع عقده لاحقًا، دعمًا لأهدافه الأكاديمية وتعزيزًا لمخرجاته العلمية والتطبيقية.
